Antigonish Heritage Museum is a community museum that strives to preserve and promote a cultural understanding of the heritage of Antigonish Town and County.  Housed in the former CN Rail Station building, it is located at 20 East Main Street in the Town of Antigonish.

The Old Train Station Newsletter includes articles on new items in the collection, stories from the area, upcoming events, recent acquisitions, recent visitors, ongoing projects and more.

The Heritage Association of Antigonish is a registered Canadian Charitable Organization incorporated in Nova Scotia by the Societies Act, owns and operates the Antigonish Heritage Museum through an incorporated entity called the Antigonish Heritage Museum Board.

  • Guest Lecture Series: Subjects may include biographical sketches, natural history, events, business and community stories.
  • Summer Ceilidhs: Learners and more seasoned performers bring traditional music of the fiddle, piano, pipes, guitar and more to the audience.
